Department of Paediatrics

Pediatric department comprises of inpatient and outpatient units which are run and supervised by faculties of both Shifa College of Medicine (SCM) and Shifa International Hospital (SIH).

Outpatient department is located in Shifa Foundation Clinics (SFCHC) and Shifa International hospital (SIH). Wide variety of patients are diagnosed and managed in collaboration with subspecialties of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Pediatric Hematology Oncology, Pediatric Nephrology, Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Surgery Neonatology and Pediatric Intensive care.

In patient department comprises of General pediatric ward, neonatal nursery, intensive care units (Pediatric & Neonatal) and  oncology unit. All cases are used for bedside teaching.

Senior Faculty, Senior Registrars and Postgraduate trainees are involved in undergraduate teaching.
