PROFILE SUMMARY

Engr. Muhammad Waqas is an interdisciplinary academic and researcher whose work bridges electrical engineering, embedded systems, wireless communication and modern computing technologies. He completed his BS in Electrical Engineering with a final year project focused on the design and development of a patch antenna, gaining hands-on experience in RF design, simulation and communication systems. Building further on his technical foundation, he pursued an MS in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Electronics and Embedded Systems, where his research centered on the design of an RF energy-harvesting system for Internet of Things (IoT) applications. His postgraduate research enabled him to work across multiple domains including low-power electronics, wireless sensor networks, embedded platforms, and energy-efficient system designers strongly aligned with emerging directions in computing and intelligent systems.

Due to his multidisciplinary expertise, Muhammad Waqas’s academic and professional interests span embedded programming, digital system design, IoT architectures, wireless communication technologies, and applied computing. His work directly supports the integration of hardware-based intelligence within computing systems, allowing students to understand how computational logic interacts with real-world electronics.
