Dr. Hira Nisar

Dr. Hira Nisar is a distinguished pediatric dentist serving as Assistant Professor and Acting Head of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Shifa College of Dentistry, along with practicing as a part-time Pediatric Dental Consultant at Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad. She earned her BDS degree from Khyber College of Dentistry in 2016, receiving multiple gold medals during her undergraduate studies, and completed her MDS in Pediatric Dentistry from Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (PIMS) in 2023. Notably, she is the first female from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) to achieve an MDS in Pediatric Dentistry. Her clinical expertise includes pre-surgical nasoalveolar molding therapy for cleft lip and palate patients, as well as the management of medically compromised children and patients with special healthcare needs.
