Dr. Farrukh Mateen

I am Dr. Farrukh Mateen, MBBS, currently serving as the Head of Shifa College of Medical Technology (SCMT), Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University, Islamabad. With over three decades of experience in healthcare, neurophysiology, and medical education, I have contributed extensively to clinical services, academic leadership, and professional training. I completed my MBBS from Sind Medical College, University of Karachi, and further enhanced my expertise through international fellowships and training in Sleep Medicine, Neurophysiology, and Nerve Conduction Studies in the United States. I currently serve as Director of the Neurophysiology Lab and Sleep Disorder Center at Shifa International Hospitals Ltd. My professional interests include clinical neurophysiology, sleep medicine, electrophysiological diagnostics, and medical education. I have participated in various national and international conferences and have published research in neurology-related fields. I am committed to advancing healthcare education, fostering academic excellence, and preparing future healthcare professionals to meet the evolving needs of the medical profession.
