Mr. Rashid Hussain is serving as an Instructor in the Biosciences department of Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University Islamabad. Mr. Rashid has good scientific collaborative interactions with many researchers in diverse projects and has one published article plus many in-progress publications in reputed journals, such as original research articles, review papers, systematic review and meta-analysis, book chapters, and correspondence. Mr. Rashid has had six years of rigorous university-level training in the broad fields of molecular genetics. He is an expert in the extraction of RNA and DNA from blood and plants, lipid profiling, cDNA synthesis, real-time PCR, gel electrophoresis, designing primers, conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and conducting expression studies. He has also got expertise in Plant Biotechnology, Plant and Tissue Culture, and Industrial Biotechnology. He worked as a research assistant on the research project titled “Association of Telomere Length in Metabolic Syndrome” in the Biochemistry Laboratory at Shifa College of Medicine. Mr. Rashid got a certificate from the World Health Organization (WHO) on “Emerging Respiratory Viruses, including COVID-19”.
