PROFILE SUMMARY

Mr. Amer Zaheer is currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University (STMU), Islamabad, Pakistan. Previously, he has been associated with several reputable institutions, including the Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad, and Army Public College of Management and Sciences (APCOMS), Rawalpindi.

In his industry career, he worked as a Team Lead on the ICT R&D–funded project titled “Design and Development of a Hybrid IPv4 and IPv6 Network for QoS-Enabled Video Streaming Multicast Application” under the Ministry of IT, Government of Pakistan.

His research interests span Cyber Security, Network Security, Computer Networks, and Multimedia Streaming. He is currently conducting research in Scientometrics and is actively advancing his work in developing and proposing a novel Author Ranking Index that integrates bibliometric indicators with social network analysis to enhance the evaluation of scholarly impact. He is also deeply interested in future research related to Security Issues in IoT, Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Quality of Service (QoS) in networks, and Wireless & Sensor Networks.
