Sidra Ishfaq is a dedicated Lab Instructor in the Department of Software Engineering at Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University (STMU), currently pursuing an M.S. in Data Science. She has a strong academic foundation in Software Engineering, complemented by multiple distinctions on the Dean’s Honor Roll, reflecting her commitment to academic excellence and lifelong learning. Sidra brings a unique blend of technical expertise and practical industry experience, spanning software quality assurance, UI/UX design, and programming. She has served as a QA Tester for Sunrise Energy Solutions (UK, remotely) and as a UX/UI Designer for Baboons (Netherlands, remotely), gaining hands-on experience in product testing, user-centric design, and cross-functional collaboration. In her academic role, Sidra focuses on creating an engaging learning environment, empowering students to explore programming, problem-solving, and emerging technologies. She has actively contributed to institutional development through participation in the Industrial Liaison Committee and the QEC Committee, emphasizing academic quality and industry engagement. Her research interests include Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, and Empirical Software Engineering. Passionate about innovation, she continuously enhances her skills through global certifications in AI, cybersecurity, UI/UX, AR/VR, and web technologies.
