Shifa Professional Learning Center (SPLC)

The Shifa Professional Learning Centre (SPLC) is an institutional initiative of Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University (STMU), Islamabad, established to serve as the university’s premier platform for continuous professional development, skills enhancement, and lifelong learning. Approved by the STMU Senate in its 22nd meeting held on July 10, 2024, and formally notified by the Registrar on July 15, 2025, the SPLC operates under the strategic oversight of the Vice Chancellor and the day-to-day leadership of its Director.

Rooted in STMU’s broader mission of nation-building and academic excellence, the SPLC bridges the gap between academia and industry by designing and delivering high-quality training programs that are responsive to current professional demands. The Centre draws on the rich interdisciplinary expertise of STMU’s faculties — spanning Computing, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Law, Management, Bio-Sciences, Clinical Psychology, and more — while also engaging distinguished external trainers and forging collaborative partnerships with professional organizations across Pakistan and beyond.
