Department of Health Professions Education, Shifa College of Medicine, organized 186th Educational Development Webinar on Saturday, 30th October 2021, from 9:00-11:00 am. The session was conducted by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, SCM. Dr Nabia Tariq-HOD, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology SCM—STMU, led the session and briefed the participants regarding the significance of reflection and reflective writing. Dean Faculty of Health Sciences and various members of SCM and SIH attended the Seminar both on-campus and online.
The Objectives of the session were:
- Describe reflective practice.
- Utilize tools to enhance reflective practice.
- Recognize how reflection supports in dealing with complex issues.
- Devise a strategy for the assessment of reflective writing.
It was an interactive session and was followed by a group activity and a question and answer session. The session ended with concluding remarks and Dua by Prof Dr Muhammad Amir, Dean Faculty Health Sciences and Principal Shifa College Of Medicine.
