Muhammad Ramish Irfan design and illustration of JSTMU Title page

Muhammad Ramish Irfan from the MBBS class of 2024 took the initiative to design and illustrate the December issue of the Journal of Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University (JSTMU).

He describes the hand-drawn digital illustration as an abstract depiction of the university’s logo. A traveller finds themselves at an oasis in a desert, about to embark on a journey, signifying the quest for knowledge lying ahead, the red and blue of the sand and water representing the red crescent and blue of the STMU emblem. The traveller writes a note for themselves as a reminder before proceeding further, an excerpt from the Qur’an where God beseeches human beings: ‘Do you not reflect?
