Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Program

Eligibility Criteria

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), with a minimum CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0 in the Semester System) or First Division (in the Annual System) from HEC and PNC recognized institutes/universities.
MSN equivalent for foreigner students, such as Nurse practitioner
The applicant must have taken the following courses in their MSN program:
- Nursing Theories
- Biostatistics
IELTS Academic score 6.5, and not less than 6 in any component.
Passing Entry test and interview of the college.

Degree Requirements

As per the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan, the Ph.D. program shall have a minimum course work of 18 credit hours, followed by a comprehensive examination and synopsis defense for granting candidacy as Ph.D. scholar. The curriculum at SCN consists of 22 credits (18 credits of coursework plus 2 seminars of 2 credits each).
