A Workshop on Scholarly Writing

The Department of Clinical Psychology, STMU organized and conducted an informative and interactive workshop on “Scholarly Writing” on 5th July 2022 at the DCP, Park Road Campus. The faculty and students of DCP attended the workshop. The focus of this workshop was to educate the students about salient features of academic style writing.

The resource person for the workshop was Ms. Azra Ahmed. She is a former faculty at Aga Khan University, Karachi who served there as Assistant Professor. She is a renowned academician and a consultant with educational institutions in an honorary capacity. The workshop provided a hands-on experience on language and academic writing. It was an interactive and activity-based workshop which enhanced the learning experience of the students. The closing remarks were given by HOD Clinical Psychology, Dr. Tamkeen Saleem. She thanked the resource person and participants and highlighted the importance of such scholarly activities for the development of abilities and writing capacities of the students.
