Visit to Dialysis Unit, SIH

Students of the Class of 2026 visited the Dialysis Unit of Shifa International Hospital on May 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th May 2023. Department of Community Medicine organized the visit in the KUB module. The visit was arranged to promote learning about chronic kidney diseases.

During the visit, students were briefed by Nurse In charge at the unit regarding the working of the Dialysis unit along with all the processes involved.  Students interacted with the patients to know about the current status of their kidney problems and also enquired about their medical history. Medical students found this visit very informative in understanding the services provided at the Dialysis Unit.
