Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University is delighted to share that Dr. Sadia
Syed, Chairperson of the Anti-Tobacco & Anti-Narcotic Committee, STMU,
and Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology at Shifa
College of Medicine, was invited to the third session of Project
Embisaat – The Happiness Bazaar | Happiness Connect Series on 14
september.
This wonderful initiative celebrates people who bring positivity and
change to their surroundings. The session was all about sharing
stories, spreading smiles, and building connections that nurture
collective well-being.
Dr. Sadia spoke about her inspiring journey as a medical doctor,
medical teacher, and forensic specialist. She also highlighted the
implementation of policies at STMU to ensure a smoke-free and
drug-free environment, and how STMU with its constituent colleges is
actively contributing towards a healthier, tobacco and narcotic-free
society—lending a positive hand to support individuals and promote
well-being.
The session was well attended by entrepreneurs, policy makers,
business leaders, educationalists, criminologists, and filmmakers,
making it a powerful platform for meaningful dialogue and
collaboration.
Here’s to creating more spaces where we can connect, collaborate, and
inspire one another with nothing but good vibes and positive energy!
