Department of Periodontology

The department of Periodontics at Shifa College of Dentistry is located on the 1st floor of the hospital. It is a large-scale facility of Islamabad/Rawalpindi offering treatment of complex periodontal diseases. The department is fully equipped with 16 dental units and conducting undergraduate teaching program under the auspices of Shifa Tameer e Millat University.

1. Inculcate theoretical knowledge about Periodontics amalgamated with clinical skills enhancement at the undergraduate level.
2. Conduction of research activities (clinical- & laboratory-based) with publications in renowned journals.
3. Practicing advanced clinical & surgical techniques at the tertiary level with hands-on learning for undergraduates.
